Wildsuits began in 2016 in Costa da Caparica, a surf town and beach on the outskirts of Lisbon in Portugal. Here, two ocean lovers met for the first time: Olivier Boileau<\/strong> and Antoine Pouvreau<\/strong>.<\/p>

Quickly they fell under the spell of Portugal, of year round sun and waves, and the strong surf culture. They began dreaming of building their own company - a new surf brand that shared their morals, respect and value for the environment. They had explored and researched many aspects of the surf industry and became increasingly interested in wetsuits, but were shocked to see the common use of highly polluting materials. Both men found this strange, as most surfers have a strong respect for nature, and the wetsuit industry seemed to be harming the very thing that was their playground; the ocean. So, with the environment in mind, Olivier and Antoine began addressing this problem, and consequently, an idea was formed: create an eco-friendly brand of wetsuits that is accessible to all.<\/p>

Nowadays it\u2019s very complicated to create a completely eco-friendly brand, and it\u2019s not a secret that Wildsuits isn't totally green! But 100% of Wildsuits\u2019 efforts are focused on constantly evolving to become as eco-friendly as possible, consistently striving to find solutions in everyday tasks to minimise impact on the planet.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

So, they set out to create the brand. Olivier and Antoine developed the first models of environmentally friendly wetsuits using an eco-friendly material, limestone neoprene. They first started by creating the\u00a03\/2mm<\/a>\u00a0suitable for temperate waters (from spring to autumn). Subsequently, they developed two other models: the\u00a04\/3mm<\/a>\u00a0et la\u00a05\/4mm<\/a>\u00a0for cooler waters.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
