Explanation of the Concept
The Wildfactory represents an innovative initiative aimed at developing the manufacture of neoprene products. More than two years ago, we began collaborating with partners who sought our expertise for designing their neoprene products. Driven by the importance of these new challenges and our personal interest in the projects, we decided to diversify our activities, adding real value to Wildsuits.
Without advertising and while continuing to develop the Wildsuits wetsuit brand, we gradually attracted various clients for research & development services, and often accompanied them through the whole manufacturing process. Today, two years later, these experiences have enabled us to design various technical products, establish solid partnerships, and even see products bearing other companies' brands but made with Wildsuits' know-how.
We have learned valuable lessons from these experiences, leading us to establish reliable processes for facilitating the manufacturing of all neoprene products. With these successes, we are delighted to share our experience with you and to offer our extended services. Neoprene Recycling Program - Upcycling
Since the beginning of the Wildsuits adventure, our commitment has always been to design wetsuits from recycled materials, focusing on sustainability. Another goal is to recycle neoprene from used wetsuits to give them a second life. This is something we have implemented since 2017 with Flahica. But we have pushed our involvement even further.
We are now partnering with the global leader in large scale wetsuit and neoprene recycling that is using an innovative process that allows us to reinvent the use of deadstock neoprene and leftover neoprene from our productions to create a new material, a recycled neoprene.. Specifically, this process involves sorting, shredding the neoprene, and laminating it to create new neoprene sheets ready for use. The goal of this approach is to bring it back to the market and further reduce the amount of neoprene that ends its life cycle as waste for Mother Earth. With these new sheets of recycled neoprene, we can manufacture new products such as yoga mats, bracelets, or even neoprene jackets.
Our enthusiasm for waste reduction is a crucial aspect of our identity. This allows us to "close the loop" of the neoprene life cycle. We offer various solutions for collecting wetsuits, whether from surf schools or specialized stores such as surf shops partners.
